Rachael Grad's Biography |
Born in Toronto, Canada, Rachael Grad has studied fine art for many years. She has taken art classes at the Washington Studio School, the New York Studio School, Pyramid Atlantic Art Center, the Art League at the Torpedo Factory, Corcoran College of Art and Design, and the Art Gallery of Ontario. Rachael is experienced with charcoal, pen and ink, and watercolor drawing, but her preferred medium is acrylic and oil painting.

Rachael is a graduate of Brandeis University (with honors in Economics), and a lawyer. She holds a Juris Doctor from the Duke University School of Law and is a member of the New York and District of Columbia bars. She has worked as an attorney at the U.S. Securities Exchange Commission, Goodwin Procter LLP, and FINRA (formerly NASD and NYSE Regulation). Rachael also has held positions at KPMG, Canada, the Chicago Mercantile Exchange, and the Ontario Ministry of Health.

Rachael currently blogs for the home decor website apartmenttherapy.com and paints whenever she can.
